LCHS NJROTC offers cadets opportunities to get involved beyond the classroom through competitive teams, physical fitness, leadership activities, service, and other experiences.
Participation gives cadets the opportunity to build skills, work as a team, challenge themselves, and represent LCHS NJROTC in the school and community.
Team offerings, participation requirements, and schedules are determined by NJROTC instructors and may change throughout the year.
A competitive outdoor navigation team where cadets race to locate control points using a map and compass.
Cadets develop precision, discipline, teamwork, and military bearing while competing in drill and ceremony events. Drill includes precision and exhibition categories, as well as Color Guard.
Cadets represent LCHS NJROTC at school and community events through the ceremonial presentation of the colors
A competitive fitness team where cadets train and compete in physical events such as push-ups, curl-ups, relay races, and other fitness challenges.
Cadets apply STEM, engineering, and teamwork skills to design, build, and operate underwater remotely operated vehicles.
A competitive cybersecurity team where cadets work together to defend computer systems against simulated cyber threats and challenges.
A competitive team that tests cadets’ knowledge of NJROTC curriculum and related material through fast-paced academic competitions.
A STEM-focused team where cadets develop skills in operating and competitively flying robotic drones.
